And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. Joel 2:28.
In His Word, God has committed to men the knowledge necessary for salvation. The Holy Scriptures are to be accepted as an authoritative, infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard of character, the revealer of doctrines, and the test of experience….
Yet the fact that God has revealed His will to men through His Word, has not rendered needless the continued presence and guiding of the Holy Spirit….
During the ages while the Scriptures of both the Old and the New Testament were being given, the Holy Spirit did not cease to communicate light to individual minds, apart from the revelations to be embodied in the Sacred Canon…. And mention is made of prophets in different ages, of whose utterances nothing is recorded. In like manner, after the close of the canon of Scripture, the Holy Spirit was still to continue its work, to enlighten, warn, and comfort the children of God.
God has … promised to give visions in the “last days”; not for a new rule of faith, but for the comfort of His people, and to correct those who err from Bible truth.
As the Spirit of God has opened to my mind the great truths of His Word, and the scenes of the past and the future, I have been bidden to make known to others that which has thus been revealed.
There are those who will be glad to lull you to sleep in your carnal security, but I have a different work. My message is to alarm you, to bid you reform your lives and cease your rebellion against the God of the universe. Take the Word of God, and see if you are in harmony with it. Is your character such as will bear the search of the heavenly investigation?

Dear Friends,
When I was about 5, I was very lonely because I was the only child in the neighborhood at that time. Seeing my loneliness, my mother gave me a little beagle puppy for my very own. I was delighted! How I loved and cuddled that little dog. One day, not long after getting him, I decided that we would play house. He could be my little baby instead of my doll. All went well until I gave him a bath—right in the icy water that was coming out of the drainpipe from the snow that was melting from off the roof. After the bath, I had no towel to dry him, so I just continued playing with my puppy. The poor little thing got thoroughly chilled.
A day or two later, because of getting so chilled, my little puppy got distemper and died. I was heartbroken. How terrible I felt when my mother told me that I had killed my puppy! Yet, I had done it innocently. I was too young to realize the consequences of my actions. I cried and cried, but all the tears in the world could not bring my puppy back.
Just as I did not realize that by giving my puppy a cold bath there would be grave consequences, so there are millions who are rushing down the path which leads to destruction without realizing what their end will be. Those millions go through life thinking that all is well, but in the end they will hear those frightful words, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Matt 7:23 They lived their life without intending to do evil, yet they failed to accept God’s Great Provision. Jesus commands, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matt 7:13,14 Solomon tells us, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Prov 14:12
Jesus is “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 He urges us to bring His message to all who will hear, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” “Freely ye have received, freely give.” Matt 28:19,20; 10:8
Jesus bids us as He bid His disciples so long ago, “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.” John 4:35,36 Think of it! We are promised a harvest for the kingdom if we will only spread the Word. “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Ps 126:5,6
Some are to be His sowers who are commissioned “preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” 1 Tim 4:2 Others are His reapers who gather in those who have heard the message of salvation. Yet, whether we are sowers or reapers, it is “God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” 1 Cor 3:7-15
May we bid others to accept our Dear Saviour’s offer of salvation, that they “may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Heb 4:16 May we lead them to the foot of the cross, that they and we can be ready for our Soon-coming Saviour is my prayer.
